Each medal achieved at the Conade National Games is a great reward for local sports, which can see the development of its athletes, as well as the coaches in this type of national competition, who test the participants against the best from the country.
Thanks to the unconditional support of the Aguascalientes Judo Association, backed by the Aguascalientes Sports Institute, this sport has been growing little by little in the state, taking on more followers who want to pursue a career in the discipline. For this reason, they have been working hard with the intention of having positive results in important competitions, which have come in the Conade National Games.
At the moment, Aguascalientes judo has won two bronzes thanks to Selene Paola Gaytán Torres, who stood on the podium in the 13-14-year-olds in the 64-kilogram category, as did Esther Alejandra Delgado González, who did in the 15-17 years, in the category of up to 40 kilograms. Both judokas received this achievement with great pride, taking their bronze medal with great joy in what is a reward of hard work for several months that has paid off in these games; the local judo delegation will continue to compete this weekend in hopes of increasing the metal harvest in the coming days.
