BRINDISI, 25 June 2022 – Happy Casa Brindisi announces that it has entrusted Gianfranco Patera with the role of technical manager of the youth sector for the next three years.
The club is particularly pleased to welcome in the biancoazzurra family a coach with undoubted experience and the ability to work closely with young basketball players from the Apulian area, and beyond.
Gianfranco Patera wore the colors of his hometown as a player in the 1980s, playmaker in the A2 of Brindisi Basketball coached by coach Pentassuglia who nearly returned to Serie A with Fischetto, Malagoli and Howard in the 1982/83 season. Subsequently, from the 2000s to today, he has been the undisputed protagonist of many successes as coach and soul of the Aurora Brindisi Amateur Sports Association.
His technical, human and professional heritage as a former basketball player, teacher and coach will be available to our boys and the entire Happy Casa Brindisi team who will face the next youth sports seasons.
