Giménez showed his strength at Progressive Field

The Venezuelan Andrés Giménez, of the now Guardians of Clevelandhit his eighth home run of the 2022 Major League Baseball (MLB) season this Friday night.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Giménez hammered a lob from Boston Red Sox starter Nick Pivetta to get the ball out to right field.

In accordance with Baseball Savantthe Venezuelan connection, which served to equalize the actions, registered an exit speed of 102.5 miles per hour and traveled 398 feet.

With that hit from four corners, Giménez reached 37 RBIs.

In this campaign, the native of Barquisimeto, Lara state, represents one of the key pieces of the Guardians that maintain a close fight against the Minnesota Twins in order to conquer the Central Division of the American League.
