It took place last Saturday 11 June, at the Sports Hall of the suggestive Aeolian island of Lipari (ME)the promotional sporting event “Judo is integration”Which involved both able-bodied and disabled children and young people aimed at promoting sport among the youngest as a tool for inclusion, as well as a vehicle for fun and healthy values.
On the afternoon of the same day, the 2nd Regional Championship of Judo Society Fisdir Sicily which involved athletes from the national and international Paralympic panorama such as Salvatore Puglisi e Davide Migliore.
For the category C21 -55 kg Men to conquer the top of the podium was Gabriele Zarbo (SSD Conca d’Oro) followed in 2nd place by Andrea Muratore, scion of ASD SporT21 Sicily. For the category C21 -60 kg Men, to get the better of Francesco Gliubizzi (ASD SporT21 Sicily) was the multiple champion Davide Migliore (ASD Special Boys) who never let himself be intimidated by his opponents and secured the victory.
To win the titles of champions in their respective specialties were Paolo Pecoraro (ASD SporT21 Sicily – Cat. Male -66 kg C21), Gabriella Caravello (SSD Conca d’Oro – Cat. Female -57 kg C21), Martina La Innusa (SSD Conca d’Oro – Cat. Female -63 kg C21), Arianna Catarro (ASD SporT21 Sicily – Cat. Female -78 kg C21), Salvatore Puglisi (ASD SporT21 Sicily – Cat. Male -90 kg Open Agonists), Alessio Terracchio (SSD Conca d’Oro – Cat. Male +100 kg Open Agonists), Bruna Pollino (ASD SporT21 Sicily – Cat. Female -48 kg Open Agonists) and the very young and now well on the way to competitions of regional and national importance Emanuele Garofalo (SSD Conca d’Oro – Cat. Male -38 kg Promotional).
As for the C21 Male -73 kg category, the first place on the podium was Salvatore Consentino (Ling Bagheria) followed in 2nd place by Vincenzo Sicola (ASD SporT21 Sicily) Placido Romeo e Giuseppe Caccamo (SSD Conca d’Oro). For the Men’s Open Agonists -66 kg category, he won the top of the podium Fausto Dolce (SSD Conca d’Oro) followed by his teammate Gaspare Gabriele Alfeo who had to give in to his opponent after a very heated duel of great technical depth and physical resistance. For the Men’s Open Agonists category -73 kg he was the ASD SporT21 Sicilia card holder Gabriele Ippolito to prevail, positioning itself in front of Michele Mastrilli (SSD Conca d’Oro).
