This is the first time I have been selected for the Japan national team, so I am very happy to be included in the Japan national team that I have been admiring since I was little.
At the final camp, which is the selection process, I had a good experience because I felt a sense of tension that I couldn’t usually experience with my team, and I was able to practice with highly skilled and tall players of the same age group.
Among them, I think that the fact that I was able to focus on playing and communication that made the most of my physical characteristics led to the selection.

I had a desire to go abroad, but I didn’t expect to go abroad for the first time as a representative of Japan, so I’m looking forward to it, and I’m nervous and anxious, but I got a good experience and returned to U18. I hope I can give back sometimes.

Naito is a player who joined the team as a first-year student of Levanga Hokkaido U15, which started in 2018, and then proceeded to U18, winning team results and individual awards at numerous tournaments, and training as a club. I feel that they are growing steadily in the environment.
Considering the future of the B League, I think it is ideal that more players are selected from the youth team. I expect Naito to play an active role as a representative of B League youth players.

The environment is different overseas, and it was my first time to play a match away from Japan, so I was very nervous, but I think I had a good experience.

Players in the Middle East have a high level and I think there is a lot to learn, and I want them to feel the actual level.
