The TGN Bàsquet senior already has a coach. Marc Rovirosa arrives on the bench to replace Víctor Neila, who left the club to lead the CB Valls men’s team. The new coach of TGN Bàsquet arrives in Tarragona from CB Igualada. In the capital of Anoia he trained senior B, achieving his permanence in Primera Catalana.
As a player, Rovirosa spent his entire career with AB Vendrell, except for one season in which he played with CB Valls in the Copa Catalunya. After finishing his time on the slopes, he took charge of AB Vendrell. He spent three seasons as head coach of the men’s senior team in Segunda Catalana. During this time he was promoted to First Catalan in his first year and the Catalan Championship. He later went to Igualada to act as assistant coach to Jordi Martí in the EBA League team and also coach of senior B.
Rovirosa has already had the first contact with the squad that he hopes to get the most out of next season.
