(Belga) Vrenz Bleijenbergh will play the NBA summer league, the North American basketball league, with the Phoenix Suns, the Belgian player announced on Twitter on Sunday.
“Very excited to announce that I will be playing summer league with the Suns. Can’t wait to get to the States,” the point guard wrote on Twitter. In 2021, 21-year-old Bleijenbergh signed up for the NBA draft, an annual recruiting party by young talent franchises, but was not selected. Last season, he first played for Bétis Sevilla in Spain before joining the G-League team, the antechamber of the NBA, from Chicago, the Windy City Bulls. During the NBA Summer League, NBA teams field a workforce made up of young players including beginners (rookies) and other young people without a club. (Belga)
