According to the magazine Hola, the Mallorcan wife Maria Francisca Perelló is pregnant with their first child. The magazine published recent photos of the interested party, revealing her condition, spending a few days of vacation with her husband on their yacht. The information was quickly picked up by many Spanish media.
Nadal had expressed last year his desire to start a family, considering however that becoming a father would be more advisable once his career is over, to take good care of his future children and for logistical reasons with the incessant travel imposed by life on the circuit. It would therefore seem that the happy event arrived earlier than expected. When he left his training for the day, the Spaniard confirmed it by thanking the fans who came to congratulate him.
