The athlete who lived in Rivas since childhood, current champion of Spain in her category —she was the first member of the Rivas Judo Club to achieve it—, defeated the Dominican judoka Moira Morillo in the grand final of the Madrid championship.
Nisrin, who aspires to represent Spain in the next Olympic Games in Paris 2024, has achieved one of the five medals that Spanish judokas have won at the Madrid Opena “great result” according to the Royal Spanish Federation of Judo and Associated Sports.
The tournament, aimed at athletes of the absolute category, has had the participation of more than 400 judokas from 5 continents, 170 of them in the different female weight groups.
The next competition in which Nisrin Bousbaa will participate will be the XIX Mediterranean Games, on June 29 in the Algerian city of Oran.
