In the last period, several Piedmontese athletes have stood out by receiving on the eve of important international events, the convocation of the Italian national youth teams from Baseball e Softballthis to reward the good work put in place by the technical staff of the local companies.
U13 SOFTBALL: D’Amico Elena Anastasia class 2009 of the Porta Mortata Novara, Molina Ruiz Aleida Ester class 2009 registered for Avigliana Redels and Aosta Bugs, Sansalone Rebecca class 2009 of La Loggia Softball, all on Thursday 2 June participated in the selective meeting that the Italian U13 softball team held in Bollate (Milan). Two Piedmontese present in the technical staff and I am the coordinator Maria Grazia Barberis ed il coach Gianni Gabri.

U15 SOFTBALL: Anita Girardi class 2008, registered for Avigliana Rebels, she was called up by the Italian U15 softball team to participate in the European Championship which will be held from 18 to 23 July in Holland. For the occasion, the manager Maristella Perizzolo (Avigliana Rebels) has released a list of 20 athletes, the outgoing vice-champion Italy has been included as seeded in group B together with the Czech Republic, France, Croatia and Lithuania.

U18 BASEBALL: Williams Wongborn in 2005, registered with BC Settimo ed Edoardo Zingarelli class 2004 member of Red Clay Castellamonte on loan to the Grizzlies Torino 48 BSC both already vice-champions of Europe, have been called up by the manager of the Italian National Baseball U18 Francesco Aluffi (BC Settimo) for the selective meeting that will be held on June 14 in Grosseto, preparatory for the choice of the roster of the team that will compete in the European Championships in Ostrava and Brno (Czech Rep.), Scheduled for mid-August and the World Cup in September in Florida (USA).
