Eintracht Frankfurt has strengthened again in the storm. The Hessians have secured the services of striker Lucas Alario.

What has been rumored for a long time is now official: Lucas Alario is moving from Bayer Leverkusen to Eintracht Frankfurt within the Bundesliga. The Argentine has signed a three-year contract with the Hessians.

Lucas Alario is an experienced player who fits our profile perfectly“said Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche. “Internationally and also in the Bundesliga, he has always had a very good hit rate.” In the Bundesliga, the 29-year-old has scored 42 times in 126 appearances.

First Kolo Muani, now Alario

Alario is already the second striker that Eintracht has signed for the coming season. In winter, the Hessians announced that Randal Kolo Muani was moving from the French Ligue 1 to the Main.

While Kolo Muani was available on a free transfer, Eintracht have to put a few million on the table for Alario. A fixed transfer fee of 6.5 million euros was listed in the 29-year-old’s Leverkusen contract. According to Argentine media reports, Eintracht should have reduced the sum to six million euros.
