Last weekend the Haría La Vuelta Arriba Basketball Club moved 30 male and female players to participate in the 1st Ravelo Men’s and Women’s Mini-Basket Tournament in the Tenerife municipality of El Sauzal. There, as the club recalls in a press release, they competed with teams from Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Palma, in an event of remarkable level that took place in the Paulino Rivero Baute Municipal Pavilion.
The team from the north of Lanzarote participated with a pre-mini women’s formation, a mini women’s and a mini men’s, with ages between 9 and 12 years old, reaping victories that make them “dream” of great achievements and adventures in this sport.
In addition, the Haría La Vuelta Arriba Basketball Club was considered the best club in the tournament for its collaboration, sportsmanship and education in all areas, both on and off the courts.
The expedition was accompanied by a large group of mothers and fathers who traveled to support the small-big players.
