The general assembly of the ASPTT Moulins Judo was held this Sunday, in the presence of Johnny Kari, sports assistant of the municipality of Moulins; Claude Gourlier, president of Allier Judo; Guy Daguin, representing the board of directors of ASPTT Moulins.
In the presence of a large audience, President Joël Le Coq said he was satisfied with this transition season disrupted by the health crisis. The number of licensees was 152 this season.
The financial balance sheet showed a balanced result, partly thanks to the exceptional help provided by the city of Moulins and the project for the 2021/2024 seasons, and the help of a partner.
The sports report presented by Gérard Azéma showed very good results in support of multiple regional or inter-regional departmental podiums.
There are many projects for the 2022/2023 season: reopening of the Bessay-sur-Allier judo club, taken over by the ASPTT Moulins judo in September; gala for the 50th anniversary of the 1972/2022 section in tribute to Gérard Castagnet, who died recently; organization of a departmental competition at the Sports Palace; organization of lotto, belote contests, meals, etc.
For the president of the section, the work is not lacking, it is the proof that the section does not rest on the achievements. With the arrival of five new members on the steering committee, the projects are ambitious and realistic.
The awarding of diplomas and grades followed the general assembly.
