The camp, which will see a mix of activities on and off the field, will serve as the final camp before selecting the men’s roster for the IWBF America’s Cup. In addition to training, Canada will participate in the Ciudad Giulianova International Tournament, in which it will play six matches against Italy, Poland and Spain from June 7-12.
“This camp will allow our staff to assess talent before making America’s Cup selections in July,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Canada’s Director of High Performance Wheelchair Basketball. “In addition, the games will provide our athletes with great competition as they continue to build the chemistry for upcoming competitions.”
