The female Judo Club Rivas is made up of eight judokas: Itziar and Andrea Lorente (-52 kg), Ana Roldán and Mar Alarcia (-57 kg), Maite Sardiña and Celia Collado (-63 kg), María Cabas (-70 kg) and Nisrin Bousba, champion of the Madrid Open held recently (+70 kg).
By qualifying for the final phase, held at the Villaviciosa de Odón sports center (Madrid), as first in the group, the Judo Club Rivas went directly, without competing, to the quarterfinals. In this round they defeated Suchil by 2-3, thus getting into the semifinals, where they defeated Judo Fujimae by 1-4.
Already in the final, the women’s team of the Judo Club Rivas won by a tight global score of 1-2 to Fontenebrojudo club in the Madrid town of Moralzarzal.
“Our girls manage to close the season making total club history. Next year they will face the best judokas in the country and in the world”, the Judo Club Rivas has indicated on its social networks.
