Our national team includes two goalkeepers, five defensive players and seven attackers. Ten floorball players play in the local championship every day, and four represent foreign clubs.
The largest representation, namely five players, is from the national championship team Cēsis “Lekrings”, two floorball players from the team “Lielvārde / Fat Pipe”, one each from the team “Talsu NSS / Krauzers” and FK “Ogres Vilki”.
Liepāja “Kuršus” will be represented by the playing coach Toms Akmeņlauks. Four more floorball players play in Finland’s top and first league teams.
World Cup floorball matches will be shortened (3 × 15 minutes) and only 14 players and four officials are allowed to enter.
