On Friday, the official inauguration took place with the visit of the Mayor of Guadalajara, Alberto Rojo, accompanied by the First Deputy Mayor, Rafael Pérez Borda, the Second Deputy Mayor, Sara Simón, the Councilor for Sports, Evarito Olcina, and the General Director of Sports, Juan Flores.
The Guadalajara Sports Fair has 20 disciplines, about 40 activities and about 30 entities represented.
The activity takes place in the Multipurpose Palace, where the stands of the different clubs have been installed and where different spaces have also been set up where the exhibitions are held. On Friday, rhythmic gymnastics played a leading role, with the Ondas 90 and Wad-Al-Hayara clubs, roller skates with Roller Guadalajara or table tennis with TM Guadalajara. The CAUG also held an exhibition and the exciting world of hiking was learned more closely, with a talk by Víctor J. Pascual.
An intense day of 3×3 basketball (Guadalajara Basket), soccer (Dínamo Guadalajara and Atlético Guadalajara, archery, foosball, American football (Stings), athletics (Meliz Sport), rhythmic gymnastics (Ritmica Guadalajara) or handball is planned for that Saturday. 4×4 (BM Guadalajara).
The facilities are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
