The Ancona sports clubs continue to collect important successes, increasing more and more the quality nursery of young athletes. This morning the Asd Arcieri Ancona, the Asd Bocciofila 2000 and the Asd Club Scherma Ancona were awarded for their results in the Municipality. The athletes received the plates and parchments that the municipal administration reserves for Ancona sportsmen and their clubs from the hands of the mayor Valeria Mancinelli, the president of Coni Marche Fabio Luna and the councilors for sport Andrea Guidotti and Stefano Foresi for Democratic Participation. «Sport is first of all a school of life – said the mayor Mancinelli greeting the boys – and therefore it is what is needed today more than ever. For this reason, in addition to congratulating you on your successes, we express all our confidence in you, because you represent the good and promising part of our company ».

«In sport and in life – added the commissioner Guidotti – organizing and forming a team are basic principles and values, which help us to grow physically and mentally. So congratulations to you and your commitment, but also to your families, your technicians and the managers of the companies you belong to, because they take care of you and your growth ”. In the same vein, Councilor Foresi, who also underlined the social and inclusive value of sport, which “in addition to being an armor for life, is an important opportunity to be close to less fortunate children.” – concluded the president of Coni Luna – they serve to make you understand that the institutions exist and that a team game is being played here, with the aim of not losing even a sports club. We must avoid this risk, which we ran above all in the period of Covid and which we continue to run even today due to the negative consequences that the pandemic has left in our society. In the Marche we are there to support and help the sports world, despite the enormous difficulties ».

The president Paolo Rossolini, the coach Laura Boriani and the athlete Nicola Paolucci, born in 2002, were present for the Arcieri Ancona club. Rimini (February 24, 2022). Among his successes Paolucci also boasts the qualifications for the Italian Indoor Championships in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2022 and three regional titles, in 2018, 2021 and 2022. He has also distinguished himself for voluntary initiatives in the Para-Arcery championships and also for his scholastic merits, including a high school term paper dedicated to one’s own sport: “The mind in archery”.

The Bocciofila Ancona 2000 club, 2022 junior Italian champion, was represented today by the president Claudio Buscarini, the coach Franco Lancioni and the manager Gabriele Pierucci, who accompanied the athletes Tommaso Martini (captain of the Doric team and selected for the national team) , Matteo Martini, Tommaso Biagioli, Denny Vigoni. The junior team from Ancona became the 2022 junior Italian champion. In the final four on Saturday 9 July in San Giovanni in Persiceto (Bologna) the “canaries” beat the Roman team of Boville in the semifinal and the Cremonese of Canottieri Flora in the final. It is not just the triumph of Ancona 2000, but of the whole youth movement in the Marche region: Biagioli is in fact a loan from Jesina and Vigoni a loan from San Cristoforo Fano.

For the Ancona fencing club, president Marco Pennazzi was in the town hall this morning, with masters Margherita Mattei and Francesco Archivio and a large group of athletes: Raian Adoul, gold Coppa Italia Assoluti (Ancona), silver first trial of the Centro Open area (Montesilvano), gold in the Absolute Regional Championship (Fano), bronze in the second round of the Zona Centro Open (Bastia Umbria), sixth in the second National Youth Round (La Spezia), gold in the Italian Team Championship Series A2 (Piacenza), Top 32 in the Italian Championship Absolute Individual (Courmayeur); Alice Gambitta (today represented by her father because she was unable to participate), silver at the Italian Youth Championship (Catania), silver at the Absolute Regional Championship (Fano); ninth at the Italian Absolute Team Championships (Courmayeur) which meant salvation salvation in Serie A1; Benedetta Pantanetti, silver at the Under 20 Team World Championships (Dubaj), gold at the second National Test, fifth at the Italian Youth Championships (Catania), fifth at the first National Youth Test (La Spezia); sixth in the Satellite Race (Copenhagen); Top 16 at the Italian Absolute Individual Championships (Courmayeur); third in the Final Ranking of the Young Category; ninth at the Italian Absolute Team Championships (Courmayeur), winning the A1 series, participating in the Youth World Championships in Dubai, in the Under 20 World Cup race in Zagreb and in retreats with the national team.

Excellent results also in team competitions: Francesco Zechini – Raian Adoul – Enrico Lauria – Lorenzo Pantanetti are Italian Champions in Serie A2 Fioretto Male (Piacenza), then promoted to Serie A1; Benedetta Pantanetti – Alice Gambitta – Giada Pianella – Camilla Vaccarini are ninth classified at the Italian Championships for Teams Serie A1 (Courmayeur), therefore they have gained salvation in Serie A; Serena Rossini – Benedetta Pantanetti – Camilla Vaccarini – Raian Adoul – Enrico Lauria are in fifth place at the Italian Mixed Team Championships (Caglieri). All these results mark a series of very significant “firsts”: for the first time in the next season we will have both the men’s and women’s teams in Serie A1; for the first time the Women’s Foil team is confirmed in Serie A1, the Men’s Foil team wins the A2 Series, an athlete participates and wins a medal in an Under 20 World Championship (Youth category), an athlete participates and wins a medal at an Under 23 European Championship.
