Deportivo San José is the first classified in the finals of the National Men’s Basketball League 2022, after beating Libertad in a match played on Monday, at the “León Condou” sports center.

The “saints” beat Libertad 123 to 68, which was already out of the decisive stage. The partials were favorable to the locals: 29-14, 32-23, 29-10 and 33-21. Ramón Sánchez from San José was the top scorer, with 27 points, while Jorge Martínez converted 19 among Liberta.

For its part, Olimpia beat its “direct rival”, Colonias Unidas Gold, 86-74, and moved one step closer to qualifying. The partials were 26-19, 16-22, 21-12 and 23-21.
The biggest scorer of the striped was the veteran captain Javier Martínez, with 18 points. Among settlers, Captain Juan Corbalan performed extremely well, with 27 points.
Tomorrow the second date of rematches of this quadrangular phase will be played, with these games: Libertad vs. Olympia and Colonias Gold vs. Saint Joseph.
