According to the correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency in Phnom Penh, the second conference of the Federation Council of the Games of the region, which took place from July 11 to 13 in this capital, approved a list of 39 official disciplines for competition and high-performance sports SEA Games 32scheduled to take place from May 5 to 16, 2023 in Cambodia.
The host country divides the 39 official sports competitions into three groups, namely, group one includes athletics and aquatics, group two contains badminton, bicycle racing, football and fencing, and group three covers bodybuilding and e-sports.
In addition, the host country is considering adding five other competition disciplines to SEA Games 32, including shooting, Kurash wrestling, gymnastics, chess and archery.
SEA Games 32 marks the first time that Cambodia has organized such a regional sporting event that is expected to welcome more than 10,000 athletes, coaches and experts./.
