The quintet of Stars of Cancun imposes conditions and defeats Guardians of Cancun 18-15 in the Mixed Children category, when the VIII edition of the Cancún 2022 International Basketball Cup gets underway.
In the first quarter, the Stars took control of the action and took a 4-2 lead. However, in the second period the Guardians bring out the caste and based on speed plays they react to turn it around 5-4.
In the second half of the game, the Stars again displayed a colorful game and they sent a good strategy to get eight points and regain their 12-7 lead. In the last quarter, Estrellas did not let their guard down and maintained dominance to increase their advantage and win 18-15.
The best Estrellas players were Mariana Barajas with eight points and Jade Jacinto with six. For the Guardians, Emiliano Cruz with 13 points.
