In addition, he has already been able to see his potential in venues such as the Conde de Godó and Madrid during this year.

Corner and a great journey through the Netherlands

In Den Haag he had a tough fight in the final against the experienced local player Jelle Sels who is usually divided between Challenger tournaments and ITF M25 tournaments. It was a duel that had to be settled 7-6(6), 4-6, 6-1 in two hours and 29 minutes. A very hard-fought first set in which Rincón knew how to handle the decisive moments better, a second that also had his fight with Jele without lowering his arms and wanting to perform in the best way in front of his audience, but in the third, Daniel was much more solvent and managed open differences to get rid of the title of champion.

It has been a week where he had to start with a tough match against the Italian Jacopo Berrettini. They defined the date in the tie-break of the third set. Then came an Akira Santillan who also usually plays a lot on the Challenger circuit, but the Spaniard solved it in two sets, after he won the first one in sudden death. In the quarter-finals and semi-finals he faced two local players like Dax Donders and Michiel De Krom with whom he only lost two games in each match.
