Dua Lipa and his Future Nostalgia (2020) is not only the name of his second studio album. It is a complete concept that encompasses the House Dance and Pop rhythms of the singer’s music, the way she dresses and the art that accompanies her. And it is that, between sky and purple colors, we remember the 60s, the generation that imagined a space and technological future that is not so far from what we live. If we look back, the references of Dua Lipa (and its videos) can take us all the way back to the 1962 Jetsons cartoon or a video of Jane Fonda giving a pilates class in the 1980s.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the pop up that opened with Puma in Chicago is the futuristic dream of the British singer, Dua Lipa. The interpreter designed, together with the sports brand, a second collection of 30 garments and footwear with very urban retro cuts and in vibrant colors. To visit this new space called Flutur x Puma Experience on Michigan Avenue, the singer forced a break from her Future Nostalgia Tour the month of July, and posed in front of the cameras with a tracksuit color morado that evokes the past and some silver sneakers that invite the future.
