Dwight Howard could retire from basketball to become a WWE superstar

During the last days, WWE has made several tryouts prior to carrying out SummerSlam, one of their Premium PPV events. One of the test takers was Dwight Howardstar of the NBA who played last season with Los Angeles Lakers.

The journalist Arash Markazi of ESPN recorded the participation of the basketball player, who introduced himself as ‘Sho Nuff, the master Shogun of the South’, in addition to making a promo (wrestler’s monologue), in which he pretended to be a champion within the company.

Later, Howard provided some statements about what he has planned for the future, since at 36 years of age, his time in the NBA could be close to ending.

“I think it is something that is in my future. I love WWE, I love professional wrestling. I’m thankful and thankful for this opportunity to be here and witness all of this, take the tests and all of that. Hopefully one day in the future, I’ll be in the ring, wrestling and holding a belt,” he expressed.

Howard went on to win an NBA title in 2020 with the Los Angeles Lakers, then move on to the 76ers before returning to the West Coast, where he gradually lost prominence.
