TORONTO — Winnipeg Blue Bombers receivers Greg Ellingson and Edmonton Elks Kenny Lawler and Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Dane Evans are Canadian Football League Players of the Week.
Ellingson set two career highs, catching 11 passes for 152 yards in the Blue Bombers’ 26-19 win over the Calgary Stampeders.
He leads the league in yards gained on receptions (518) and receptions (34)
Lawler scored the tying touchdown, catching a 10-yard pass late in the game to help the Elks defeat the Montreal Alouettes 32-31.
Finally, Evans threw for 345 yards to guide the Tiger-Cats to a 25-23 victory against the Ottawa Redblacks.
