Euro 2022 (W) | Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía give luck to Spain from the box

The heiress to the throne, 16, and her sister, 15, attend the meeting from the stands of the Brentford Community Stadium accompanied by the Minister of Culture and Sports, Miquel Iceta.

This is the second time that the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta attend a football match.

Leonor de Borbón did it on April 27, 2016 with her father at the stadium Vicente Calderón to watch the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Atlético de Madrid and Bayern Munich. Her sister premiered the following week, also accompanied by the King, at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, where Real Madrid and Manchester City played in the same competition. With her move to Brentford, the heiress to the throne returns to the United Kingdom after she concluded her first year of high school at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales on June 17. If they win or tie the match, Spain will play the quarterfinals on July 21 against England in Brighton.
