HALOYOUTH – Badminton Federation Malaysia (BAM) coaching director, Rexy Mainaky recently made a clarification about his attitude towards the Malaysian men’s doubles after participating in the 2022 Singapore Open championship.
In previous reports, Rexy Mainaky received a lot of attention, because he was annoyed with the results obtained by his Malaysian men’s doubles in the last few tournaments of this year’s season.
After successfully winning the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) tournament, the Malaysian men’s doubles seemed to experience a decline in quality. It was then that Rexy Mainaky became inflamed.

As in the Malaysian men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia / Soh Wooi Yik, who in the last few tournaments, have often failed to win the title at the BWF World Tour 2022 tournament.
A similar fate was also felt by another Malaysian men’s doubles pair, Goh Sze Fei/Nur Izzuddin whose fate was even more tragic.
The men’s doubles pair have often failed to advance to the finals in the last four tournaments this season.

As in the Singapore Open 2022 tournament, the Malaysian men’s doubles pair finally had to lose to the men’s doubles from India, MR Arjun/Dhruv Kapila in the round of 16 through rubber games 18-21, 24-22, and 21-18.
