NBA – Tony Parker commented on the Summer League game between the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors yesterday, and he admitted that he did not know what the franchise was planning to do with such a young roster.

With the trade of Dejounte Murray in early July, the Spurs officially entered a period of reconstruction since the 25-year-old guard was the only all-star in the squad and was clearly the best player. The Spurs therefore find themselves with a very young workforce, which will be led by players with high potential. The goal is therefore to develop this potential. We think, for example, of Keldon Johnsonwho shot to 17 points last season, Devin Vassell and Josh Primo which have shown good potential in certain phases, or even Jeremy Sochan, Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley all three of which have just been drafted.

Tony Parker, one of Spurs’ greatest legends and 4-time NBA champion, commented on yesterday’s game between his team and the Warriors in the Summer League. It was the Dubs who won 86-85 but that’s not what interests us. In effect, TP started talking about the Spurs project, saying he didn’t really understand what direction the Texas franchise wanted to go with such a young roster, of which he does not know 75% of the players in the workforce. But he is impatient and should find out soon since the French player will eat with Gregg Popovich on July 20.

More information is expected to be revealed in relation to the Spurs project in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to find out Spurs’ target for next year. Personally, we have a little idea, and it’s called Victor Wembanyama.
