The women’s national handball team lost to North Macedonia 23-31 on Monday, at the El-Hachemi Hantaz hall in Ain Turck, in a classification match for 7th-8th place in the JM Mediterranean Games tournament. -2022 from Oran (June 25 – July 6).
Coach’s players Rabah Graïchi finish the competition in 8th and last place in the standings, with a record of four defeats in as many games. During the preliminary round, the Algerians lost to spain (26-20), the Croatia (31-21), and the Tunisia (20-19).
Spain became the first qualified for the final, after beating this Monday the Portugal (26-24, halftime 13-9) at the hall of the Olympic complex. The ” Roja” will meet in the final the winner of the other semi-final scheduled for this afternoon between the Serbia and the Croatia (3:30 p.m.).
