It is gold for a young athlete from Valenzano who wins at the EYOF of Banska Bistrica with a splendid medal in judo. Is called Ilaria Finestrone and made his debut with a great result on the first day of 48 kg judo competitions at the European Youth Olympic Festival held in the Slovak city.
As we read on the head of the Italian Federation Judo Fight Karate Martial Arts Ilaria Finestrone overtook the Georgian Julieta Rodonaia, the Turkish Pinar Boga and in the final the Azerbaijani Konul Aliyeva. “I am super happy with the result obtained after so much effort.- says Ilaria- I thank my parents and the Italian national team for giving me this opportunity. I hope to continue my journey in the best possible way “.
Ilaria, a seventeen year old athlete, has always trained in her country: “She grew up with us from an early age, she is an athlete from Valenzano and it is here that we accompanied her in her training” says the Iacovazzi Judo Team. “We are honored! Our congratulations to Ilaria, her family and especially her companions “.
