Leaking! Photos of Tottenham Hotspur’s Sixth New Player

Spurs have spent £115m this summer, the most temporarily of any Premier League club.

Tottenham Hotspur will soon be inaugurating their sixth new player in the transfer market this summer, namely full-back Middlesbrough, Djed Spence.

As reported by a number of British media, Spurs and Boro agreed the transfer of Spence with a base fee of £ 12.5 million plus bonuses worth £ 7.5 million. The duration of the contract signed by the 22-year-old is not yet known.

Spence has passed a medical in London and his photo was leaked to the media during his first interview in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium dressing room wearing a Spurs jersey.

The England Under-21 right-back will become Spurs’ sixth new signing of the transfer market this summer. He followed Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona.

Spence spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest. He made 46 appearances across all competitions to help Steve Cooper’s side get promoted to the Premier League for the first time since the 1998/99 season!

Spurs are currently on tour in South Korea. Antonio Conte’s squad will face Rangers and AS Roma in the last two games of pre-season.

As for the Premier League’s opening match for the 2022/23 season, the North London Whites will host Southampton on 6 August.
