NICOLET. The 4 Knights make people laugh at the same time as they amaze the gallery with their talent and their prowess. No matter where they go, they don’t go unnoticed. After a stop at Sainte-Gertrude on the occasion of Saint-Jean-Baptise, they are returning to the region, to Nicolet more precisely, on July 15 at 7:30 p.m.
The quartet will face the Bombardiers in a friendly ball game presented at Volunteer Park. An appointment orchestrated by the deputy governor of the local team, Jeanot Guay-Fleurent. “We don’t expect to win; we put on a show,” laughs Michel-Alex Proulx, Governor of the Bombardiers. “We do this for fun and we invite people to come and laugh at us… with us! It really is for the whole family. »
Some special guests will be present, including the former governor of the Bombardiers Philippe Deshaies, who will act as “player coach”, the mayor of Nicolet Geneviève Dubois, for the ceremonial launch, as well as the deputies Louis Plamondon and Donald Martel. The latter, a baseball buff, could also make a try at bat, if the occasion is right…
The entrance fee is $10 per person aged 13 and over. It’s free for ages 12 and under. The money raised will be redistributed equally between the Bombardiers and Nicolet Minor Baseball. Tickets will be on sale at the door. However, it is possible to get some in presale via the Facebook page of the Bombardiers or from Marie-Claude Durand at Auger Automobiles.
The event is part of the 350th anniversary festivities of the City of Nicolet. Alcoholic beverages will be on sale on site.
The members of the 4 Knights are Renaud Lefort, Steve Côté, Gabriel Désilets and Alex Vallée.
