Massimiliano Allegri is happy that Juventus beat Real Madrid

Allegri assessed that the Juventus players showed positive developments in the match against Real Madrid.

Juventus’ defeat from Real Madrid did not make Massimiliano Allegri disappointed. The Bianconeri formation interpreter felt that there were positive things that his team got.

Duel Real Madrid against Juventus is their last match in the pre-season tour in the United States. The match was completed with a score of 2-0 at the Rice Bowl Stadium, Sunday (31/7) morning WIB.

Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Real Madrid with a penalty in the 19th minute. Another goal was scored by Marco Asensio in the 69th minute.

“A good game that ends a good 10 days of work in the United States,” said Allegri.

“We faced the strongest team in Europe and as long as it was possible to play, we did it, trying to control possession and not give the ball away. I’m satisfied with the efforts of the players, we can still improve a lot, and there are players who still have to come back.”

“Tonight [pagi WIB] there are chances for both sides and we should have managed our chances a bit more patiently. Now we have a few days off and then get back to work because the season is near.”

The defeat was Juventus’ first during their pre-season tour of the United States. Previously, Leonardo Bonucci and colleagues beat Mexican club Chivas 2-0, and drew 2-2 against Barcelona.

Next, Juventus will play again with another Spanish LaLiga club, Atletico Madrid. The fight will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel on August 7.
