The MHP giants Ludwigsburg have signed the American Markell Johnson for the coming season of the BBL.

The 23-year-old is moving from the Lithuanian club Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys to the Swabians, as they announced on Tuesday. Johnson receives a one-year contract.
“He’s a fast, athletic playmaker who has explosive acceleration and is very good at pick and roll,” Ludwigsburg’s new head coach Josh King said of the point guard.
