The Égletons flying rackets badminton club has fielded two adult teams in departmental interclubs this season.
Team 1 advances to Regional 3. The sporting future of the club took shape during the last day: team 1, second behind Brive, reached Regional 3. A major challenge to take up next year, but also a source of motivation and emulation for the licensees of the club, which also counts on the reinforcement of new players capable of strengthening the workforce.
Promising young people. Among young people, who are very active in the various competitions, the results are notable at the end of the year. In the final Promobad: Timée Otge winner chick; in the TDJ final: Émilie Dubernard, Series 3 finalist, Maxime Jacquemet, Series 2 winner and Clément Lamy, Series 4 finalist.
To the departments. Chloé Bunisset and Patrick Gandebœuf were titled in mixed doubles series 3; Patrick Gandebœuf also won in DH (with a partner from the Tulle club); and the pair Émilien Besombes and Martin Couchoud lost in the final in DH series 3.
Animations. To end the season in style and in complete relaxation, the players and their families, a total of around forty people, met in mid-June, under the heat wave. With enthusiasm, all these little people tried alternative practices such as air badminton and speedinton, before sharing a meal.
Next season. It will start at the Associations Forum on 3 September. The RVE will be present all afternoon to inform people who would like to try badminton and play in Regional 3 next year.
