Jean-Michel Veaudor is a leader in his field. But his selection for the France team is shrouded in a veil of mystery.

The federation’s website does not really state its international status. A Veaudor is mentioned in the list of all-time Blues, dated August 5, 1979, for a friendly match in Cotonou against Benin punctuated by a river score: 118-93. The Veaudor in question has scored 2 points, his name is Marc and no club is identified about him. Odd.

Jean-Michel Veaudor had his first strapping at the age of 22, when he was doing his last year of studying physio. His patient was illustrious: Alain Gilles, the best basketball player of the 20th century. In fact, his brother François was friends with Michel Buffière, the son of André, who was then the coach of ASVEL. And his second client was his teammate from JALT Le Mans, Gilles Prod’homme, the father of Elise, a former player in the Women’s League, and now coach of the hopes of the JDA Dijon.
