Latvian rower Evija Freimane finished the U-19 world championship in Varese in 13th place on Sunday.

In the singles C final, where rowers fought for 13th place, Freimane was the fastest. She rowed 2000 meters in eight minutes and 7.22 seconds.
Meanwhile, the rowing foursome Bruno Bīritis, Daniils Gulovs, Marko Kudelko and Krists Tomas Krūmiņš competed in the C final for 13th place. Latvian rowers covered the distance in six minutes and 44.26 seconds, which allowed them to take 16th place.
Pairing pair Patriks Strazds/Andrejs Kļaviņš, fighting for 13th place in the C final, reached the finish in six minutes and 40.74 seconds, ranking 18th overall.
On the other hand, the pair of rowers Kate Agare/Una Krasta rowed 2000 meters in the D final in seven minutes and 29.11 seconds, being the fastest in their final and finishing the competition in 19th place.
The U-19 championship ends on Sunday, while the world U-23 championship, in which Latvian rowers also competed, lasted until Saturday.
