Accordingly, tickets for blocks “R2” to “R5” on the Rahn grandstand and “E2” and “E3” on the Sparkasse grandstand are already sold out. Tickets are also no longer available for the WAZ west curve. A few remaining tickets are still available for blocks “R1”, “E4” and “E1” and “G1”.
As for the capacity of the stadium, explained RWE-Boss Marcus Uhlig before the season finale of the last season against RW Ahlen: “The stadium on Hafenstrasse has a net capacity of 19,962 spectators for soccer games. The number of 16,500 can be explained by the fact that blocks G2 and G3 are not available for RWE fans to occupy.
