Serpong City FC Brings 3 Senior Ex-League 1 Players

In order to strengthen the squad for the 2022 Liga 3 season, Serpong City FC brought in three new players. Firli Apriansyah, Aldino Hardianto and Busari who will fill the quota for senior players from SCFC next season.

“The reason for joining Serpong City is because this team has high targets, they want promotion next season. I am motivated by what the management expects,” said SCFC’s new player, Busari, on Wednesday, July 21, 2022.

In line with Busari, Aldino also has a similar reason why he chose Serpong City. “If last season was almost promoted, this year I set a target to be promoted,” said the striker from Medan.

“For my goal, I don’t have a goal, because I think the most important thing is that Serpong City can be promoted, not the personal target that I’m after. But I will still give my best to help the team,” explained Aldino.

Meanwhile, according to Firli, he has his own challenges joining a Liga 3 club. The large number of young players makes the former Borneo FC defender also have to help guide his juniors at SCFC.

“Of course they have to provide input, they are still young. Sometimes when they are young they only think about using physical strength when playing. But football is not only physical, there are other aspects such as mental and tactical, which are equally important,” said Firli.

The presence of the three will certainly be a breath of fresh air for Serpong City’s troops in the face of next season. The trio will have a central role not only on the pitch but also to guide their juniors.

“Hopefully the three of them can make a good contribution to the team and realize the management’s target to be promoted to League 2,” concluded Serpong City CEO Jerry Nugroho.
