The resumption of the Pro League in 10 questions: Will Club Brugge shine in the Champions League? (8/10)

Club Brugge will be one of the favorites for the title in Belgium. Impossible to deny it given the end of the Blauw en Zwart season in the Pro League and their new trophy in the Pro League. The third in a row.

Bart Verhaghe invested in his team to win the title because he knew that the late season was the last to offer a direct ticket to the Champions League groups and the millions that flow from it. From the 2023-24 season, the Belgian champion will have to go through the qualifying rounds.

This qualification is a new opportunity to shine on the biggest European stage. Club Brugge has never really disappointed in C1 groups but without shining on continuity.

Everyone remembers their match in Madrid (2-2) against Real, the victories against Zénith Saint-Petersburg (1-2 and 3-0) and the splits against Lazio (1-1 and 2-2 ), even though the latter cost them qualification for the next round.

The Blauw en Zwart are still dreaming of a historic round of 16 and would like to achieve it this year.
