After the summer sporting events that served as qualifiers for the National Beach Games, this weekend there will be a selective skate in which the Buenos Aires representation for the next Evita, which will take place in October, will be defined.
The appointment is next Sunday at the San Fernando extreme sports park, where the first event of the second stage of the Buenos Aires Cup will take place, an initiative of the Undersecretary of Sports, dependent on the Ministry of Community Development, to charge of Javier Lovera.
Skate is the first of more than 40 disciplines that will define the Buenos Aires representation for the Evita National Games. The schedule extends during August and September with more events, among which the following stand out: Climbing on August 7 in La Plata, Taekwondo on August 14 in Lomas de Zamora, Artistic Gymnastics on August 18 and 19 in Malvinas Argentinas, on August 20 Judo in August in Morón, Athletics on August 24 in La Plata, and Canoeing in Las Flores on September 4.
The Buenos Aires Cup is an initiative of the portfolio in charge of Javier Lovera and its objective is to promote sports development, as well as to promote from the provincial State the calendar of competitions for federated athletes in the Buenos Aires territory. To do this, the Undersecretary of Sports coordinates with the municipalities and the different provincial and national federations, who are in charge of organizing and supervising the events. In some team disciplines, the Cup is a continuation of the Buenos Aires Games.
Within the framework of the Municipal Stage of the Buenos Aires Games, work continues and promoting the development of municipal teams, specifically for team sports. In this way, the Buenos Aires Cup, in addition to objectifying the conformation of the delegation that will represent the Province in the Evita National Games, also strengthens the sense of belonging of the young athletes of the entire Province.
Finally, it should be noted that the national competition had a “Beach” edition last March in Mar de Ajó, in which the Province of Buenos Aires finished in first place in the table, among the 24 participating provinces.
