Turkey, which closed the first period with only 1 point behind 13-1 with a margin of 12 points, finished the period 27-24 defeat. Finishing the third period with a 47-38 victory, Spain won the match 64-56.
Having suffered its first defeat, Turkey will face Germany in the last match of the group tomorrow.
