Yesterday, the 2022 European Under-15 Baseball Championship was presented at the La Petxina Complex, which will be held from July 18 to 23 at the Baseball field (Section VI) of the Jardín del Turia. In addition to being the venue, Valencia has four players in the Spanish squad that belong to different teams in the city. This is the case of Josuel Solano from the Astros Baseball Club, or Hugo Torres, Nacho Espejo and Néstor Paredes from the Antorcha Club.
This qualifying championship is divided into two venues, Budapest and Valencia. Both cities have six teams and the winner of each tournament will qualify directly for the European Under-15 Championship to be held in 2023. The event was attended by the managing director of the FDM of València, Borja Santamaría; the project management manager of the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, Sergi Borrás, and the president of the Valencian Fed., Paqui Martínez.
