VIDEO. Mexico wins bronze in Archery World Cup

MEXICO CITY, July 23 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Archers Dafne Quintero and Miguel Becerra won the bronze medal at the Archery World Cup.

The medal was in the modality of mixed teams of compound bow.

Quintero and Becerra prevailed 157-156 against the South Korean couple made up of Kim Yunhee and Kang Donghyeon.

The gold medal went to the couple from Denmark, while the silver went to the United States.

The goalkeeper Miguel Becerra will have the opportunity to hang one more medal, since he is in the Final Four instance, where the four best goalkeepers of the circuit face Mike Schloesser from the Netherlands and number one in the ranking, in addition to Jean Philippe Boulch James Lutz, from France and the United States, respectively.

Dafne Quintero also has another option for medals, in the Women’s Final Four she has as rivals the Mexican Andrea Maya Becerra, the British Ella Gibson and the Colombian Sara López.
