North Macedonia’s Kalin Ivanovski was so confident in his second-round match against Mexico’s Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez that he performed magic on match point.
The 18-year-old is unseeded and, on paper, was actually an outsider against number eleven on the seeding list.
There was no sign of that in the match. Ivanovski dictated events as he pleased and led 6-1, 5-2.
