After a 30-year career as a badminton coach in Amqui, Claude Lavoie received a beautiful tribute at the annual Badminton Quebec Gala.
Claude Lavoie, who retired earlier this year, won the Coup de Coeur award for the 2021-2022 season.
Badminton Quebec has recognized its importance in the development of badminton in Eastern Quebec.
Mr. Lavoie notably thanked Claire Bujold and Rachel Nicolas for their support and involvement.
Note also that the Eastern Quebec regional badminton association was also nominated for a prize at the Gala.
