Archery, archers from all over Italy competing in Chioggia on Sunday. In Sant’Anna di Chioggia, in Bosco Nordio, a country archery sports competition organized by the Arcieri del Mare amateur sports association.

Under the aegis of FIDASC, the multidisciplinary federation affiliated with CONI, the Archers of the Sea, despite the heavy restrictions due to the pandemic, hope to return to normal by inaugurating 2022 with a competition called “Hunting and shooting”. If all goes well, there will be five races scheduled this year in Bosco Nordio, a considerable commitment for the Compagnia del Mare.

In this first appointment there will be almost 150 archers of all ages, who will participate in the sporting event, challenging each other over the distance of 42 arrows to aim for category podiums.

The Archers of the Sea, affiliated to two Italian sports federations (FIDASC and FIARC) with almost fifty members, have been operating in the area for more than twenty years promoting a sport as old as man, but “modern” in terms of safety and respect for animals and nature.

A unique sport that stimulates the heart and brain in the competitive but also recreational spirit, in the name of friendship between practitioners, always played in natural environments made even more suggestive by the choices of the competition fields.

For the new Robin Hood the Archers of the Sea organize even just a test with their instructors shooting courses, in the school and training field in via Pegorina (in front of the sports field) always in Sant’Anna di Chioggia. For information you can consult the site https://www.arcieridelmare.it
