Atlanta acquires the services of Chris Silva

Chris Silva will continue in the NBA. As officially announced by the Atlanta Hawks, the pivot has sealed an agreement to join the Georgia organization; yes, the terms of it are unknown.

At 25 years old, this player born in Gabon lands in Atlanta after three seasons alternating between the NBA and G League. Having played for the Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves, he has played a total of 69 games averaging 2.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 7.7 minutes per night.

We don’t know what role I could play in the Hawks, but everything indicates that it would be a non-guaranteed contract that would allow him to do training camp with Atlanta. It will be there, in preseason, where he will have to show that he deserves a position in the roster to start the 2022-23 academic year.

Regarding the space that the Georgians have in their squad, for now they only have 13 guaranteed contracts, so it is likely that they will invite more players to train with them to complete the list of 15.
