The Tenerife announced this Monday the addition of the former Uni Girona player Iho Lopez. The pivot of 1.90 meters and 25 years will contribute “youth and power” in his position, as the Canary team explained in a press release.

In his stage of formation, López played in the CB Blanesl’Spar Girona il’IMG academy American, once the senior stage arrived, he opted for the University of Florida until completing their studies.
In his return, he played a season in the Women’s League 2 with the GEiEG and this last year, he played for Spar Girona finishing his performance with an average of 1.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.9 rating.
The coach of Tenerife, Claudio Garcia, has declared that she is “a player in clear progression who, if the injuries respect her, will continue to grow and add to the team”. According to García, she is a player “capable of doing a bit of everything and always ready to help the group”.
López joins the rest of the names of the squad: Gaby Ocete, Izaskun García, Aida Sheppard, Krisztina Raksanyi, Andjela Delic, Terezia Palenikova, Tijana Krivacevic and Esther Montenegro.
