From Tuesday August 9 to Friday August 19, 2022the Ivorian athlete from the judo club of Chateau-Gontier (Mayenne) Zouleiha Dabonnement participated in the Islamic solidarity games known as the Muslim games, in Konya (Turkey).
She was one of the ten athletes selected to defend the Ivorian colors. In its category (- 57 kg), the latter left with a beautiful bronze medal.
She finished in 3rd place in these Muslim games, which is pretty good.
“After winning her first two fights by ippon, she lost in the semi-final against the eventual winner Ermaganbetova (Uzbekistan). She went to get this medal by waza-ari against Novruzova (Turkmenistan). »
As a reminder, Zouleiha also won the bronze medal end of May 2022during the African Championships in Oran (Algeria). She will participate in the world championship in Uzbekistan which takes place from October 6 to 12, 2022.
